Elijah Concert A Success!
Congratulations to the St. Paul's Choir, Festival Singers and Orchestra, featured artist Derrick Smith, and conductor David Fetler, on a magnificent performance of Elijah! On October 2nd, the group performed to an audience of about 200, and received a well-deserved standing ovation. Following the performance, a lovely reception was held outside. Conductor Fetler partnered with the Communications Commission to increase community awareness and encourage attendance at Elijah, and their efforts were rewarded, as attendance was triple that of previous turnouts. David said he was "thrilled with the singers and players, the response and the wonderful ovation."
