St. Paul's Youth group (SPY) Raises $5,000 for Heifer Project Ark!
After over a year of hard work done by the youth and from generous contributions from St. Paul's Parishioners, as well as organizations like the Antiques Show, SPY has met its goal of raising enough money to buy "two of everything" that Heifer Project sponsors. This is another way that St. Paul's contributes to its world wide mission and outreach. The Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper features a short "thank you" to St. Paul's for its contributions to the Heifer Project.
The artwork on these pages was done by SPY members as decor for a parish dinner. In addition to the decorations, SPY also worked preparing food, serving and cleaning up. The "ark work" represents, in a clear way, our young peoples' energy and commitment to alleviating world hunger and deprivation through the Heifer Project.
