St. Paul's Scholarship Programs

St. Paul's offers two scholarships to help provide financial assistance for the continuing education of students in the parish. They are the Almus and Merriel Thorp Lay Theological Scholarship and the St. Paul's Memorial Scholarhip.

Grants from the Merriel and Almus Thorp Lay Theological Scholarship Fund are meant to help develop knowledge and skills by which recipients may increase and deepen their ministry in the Diocese of Rochester. The fund is generally able to award one grant per year. Grants will not exceed $1,000. The administrators of the fund normally consider grant applications quarterly: January, April, July and October.

St Paul's Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by Vestry resolution December 8, 1948 provides scholarships for students pursuing a College or Theological degree. The maximum grant available is $1000. Applications are due in the church office by Tuesday, April 15.
