Solicitation of St. Paul's congregations for volunteers and start-up supplies for the program; also includes prep work needed for the site (Sunday School rooms to make it as painless as possible for the Sunday School to resume using the facility for those four weeks every year.

August-September 2003

St. Paul's volunteers will be trained by RAIHN on every aspect of running the Interfaith Hospitality Network (see separate TRAINING page)

November 2003

Volunteer teams go through a dry run acting as guests, staying overnight in "Paul's Place"

December 2003

First guests arrive for IHN program at St. Paul's (tentative program start date)

The Rochester-level organization RAIHN: Rochester Area Interfaith Hospitality Network has two regularly-scheduled meetings. The coordinators from St. Paul's attend the general meeting. Additionally, Nancy Frank from St. Paul's is also on the Board of Directors of RAIHN. See the RAIHN web site for a full calendar of other events.
