St. Paul’s Church resides within the ancestral and traditional lands of the Onöndowa’ga:’, or “the people of the Great Hill,” known in English as the Seneca people — one of the six nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. As people of Christian faith called to “respect the dignity of every human being,” and to “love our neighbor as ourselves,” we will strive to honor the Indigenous individuals and communities who live here now, and those who were removed from their homelands.
